As an Associate TSE II, you will join the Technical Services team to provide expert guidance and solve complex problems for customers across the entire MongoDB ecosystem. You will work directly with large customers to resolve technical challenges regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security while advocating for customer needs to product management teams. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing performance tuning, benchmarking, and contributing to internal software development projects for diagnostic tools. The role requires proficiency in systems administration, network administration, data architecture, and distributed systems. Candidates should possess skills in application architecture and experience with technical support. What you'll do

Resolve complex customer issues regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security for the MongoDB ecosystem.
Provide expert advice on best practices for running MongoDB at scale across various infrastructures.
Act as a primary technical resource for products including Atlas and Cloud Manager.
Advocate for customer needs by interfacing with internal product management and development teams.
Develop internal software tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and real-time problem solving under pressure.
Handle high-level technical escalations independently as a subject matter expert.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have a B.Tech, B.S., or equivalent work experience.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in technical support is required.
Proficiency in systems administration, troubleshooting, and network administration is required.
Expertise in scalable distributed systems, application architecture, and data architecture/design is required.
Experience in performance tuning and benchmarking is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Javascript, Node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl is preferred.
