What you'll do

Provide technical support for process control, automation infrastructure, and manufacturing process systems.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues related to electrical, instrumentation, and DeltaV control systems.
Execute engineering assessments and configuration changes to support new product or technology introductions.
Apply automation principles to the design, specification, construction, and validation of GMP utilities and equipment.
Support capital project commissioning and qualification activities for various manufacturing projects.
Analyze and present results for operational issues and small-scope engineering projects.
Provide 24/7 on-call technical support for automation systems on a rotational basis.

What we're looking for

High school diploma/GED and 6 years of automation or engineering experience, Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in process automation engineering within pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments (preferred).
At least 1 year of combined experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems (preferred).
Familiarity with batch control standards, SDLC methodologies, S88, 21 CFR Part 11, Validation, and GAMP (preferred).
Experience with Mammalian Cell Culture, Protein Purification, Clean Utilities, CIP, SIP, Production Services, and non-GMP Utilities (preferred).
Experience with Tech Transfer, Process Design, and Commissioning (preferred).
Experience with validation and change control methodology (preferred).
