Associate Manager, Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead a team of engineers to solve complex technical challenges for infrared sensors.
• Manage staffing requirements and adjust personnel levels to ensure an appropriately staffed workface.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, validation, and verification for development programs.
• Conduct systems analysis to determine how environmental changes affect performance and outcomes.
• Review Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and other deliverables for technical quality and process adherence.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.
• Develop system test and evaluation requirements and support proposal writing.
• Evaluate options and implement solutions by considering relative costs and benefits.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, testing, and delivering systems.
• Demonstrated experience in architecture, specification, implementation, simulation, test, verification, validation, and debugging (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading a team or project within the IR (Infrared) field (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
