What you'll do

  • Provide direct systems engineering support to programs including requirements definition, decomposition, and traceability.
  • Design and develop radar, RF, and sensor-based systems in collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Interpret customer needs to develop concepts of employment, use cases, and functional block diagrams.
  • Identify risks and knowledge gaps early in development to conduct prototype testing and mitigation analysis.
  • Ensure component and subsystem designs properly integrate and meet all system requirements.
  • Develop, coach, and motivate a team of systems engineers to achieve peak performance.
  • Manage engineering resources, personnel allocation, hiring, and the engineering overhead budget.
  • Participate in proposals and review cost estimates and proposal packages.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience leading a technical team.
  • Active US Secret security clearance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering disciplines and the government program acquisition lifecycle.
  • Master's degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
