What you'll do

  • Lead investigations and resolutions for production incidents and system outages.
  • Identify and mitigate stability and operational risks in collaboration with Development and Infrastructure teams.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity exercises from Production to Contingency sites.
  • Drive compliance and execution across ITIL frameworks, specifically Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Perform root cause and trend analysis to implement sustainable preventative solutions.
  • Track, document, and report issues using standard enterprise tools for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Share knowledge and runbooks across regional support teams and assist with production support executive functions.
  • Coach and train new recruits on technical processes and system knowledge.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
  • Experience with DB2 and VSAM databases and file systems.
  • Experience with IBM MQ Series, Connect:Direct, and NDM middleware.
  • Proficiency with STROBE, OMEGAMON, and other mainframe debugging tools.
  • Experience with Changeman, Expeditor, OPC, Autosys, and Control-M.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or other incident and problem management tools.
  • Strong communication, diplomacy, and analytical skills to lead investigations and coach new recruits.
