What you'll do

  • Provide technical and business support to resolve application issues and improve system stability and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain production application environments to ensure they meet service level expectations.
  • Perform daily monitoring, risk reconciliations, and develop comprehensive technical support documentation.
  • Assess the impact of production issues and escalate critical risks to management in a timely manner.
  • Define scope for complex application enhancements and develop contingency plans to ensure system availability.
  • Partner with development teams to prioritize bug fixes and coordinate application releases into production.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach for junior analysts while advising senior stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulations.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role.
  • Hands-on experience in UNIX, SQL, MongoDB, and Openshift containerization.
  • Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-IT staff.
  • Experience with AI tools adoption, SRE, distributed platforms, or mainframe platform support (preferred).
  • Experience with ETL tools, Vanguard, Big Data, or Hadoop (preferred).
  • Proficiency in some programming languages and willingness to learn.
