What you'll do

Resolve technical issues quickly to maintain system stability and performance for trading and business users.
Maintain application systems and operating environments to meet service level expectations.
Perform start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers to ensure 24/7 operations.
Conduct same-day risk reconciliations and assess the impact of production issues for management.
Identify and communicate risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues to relevant stakeholders.
Partner with development teams to prioritize bug fixes and define tooling requirements.
Support application releases from development through testing and deployment while reviewing performance results.
Coach junior analysts and serve as the primary liaison between users, internal teams, and vendors.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in an application support role, including installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
Working knowledge of Unix and SQL.
Familiarity with programming languages and a willingness to build new technical skills.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate information from multiple sources.
Experience using issue tracking, reporting, and problem management tools.
Ability to organize workload and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
