What you'll do

Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities to meet organizational goals.
Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on advanced system flow knowledge.
Serve as an advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts while allocating their work.
Assess business risks to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Design and build resilient, scalable, and observable services using cloud-native development principles.

What we're looking for

10+ years of application development and leadership experience in the financial services domain.
Hands-on experience in Full Stack Java and Oracle.
Experience solving performance issues regarding flow, including DB, ingestions, and exposure.
Good understanding of CI/CD processes, Scrum, and JIRA.
Deep understanding of ETD clearing workflows, including trade lifecycle, brokerage, cash, and collateral.
Expertise in cloud-native development principles for building resilient, scalable, and observable services.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree (preferred).
