Application Support Analyst

What you'll do

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for the Openlink application and its associated ecosystem.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex issues within market data, static data, and risk management platforms.
• Monitor system health and performance to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users.
• Support critical front office risk batches and end-of-day batch processing.
• Manage the full incident lifecycle, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
• Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation, knowledgebase articles, and runbooks.
• Assist with planning and executing application deployments, upgrades, and disaster recovery tests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance system stability.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Jupyter Notebooks, or shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools or familiarity with the ITIL framework (preferred).
