What you'll do

Provide technical and business support to users by fielding issues and providing short-term resolutions.
Act as a liaison between internal technology groups, vendors, and end-users like traders.
Participate in application releases including development, testing, deployment, and post-release checkouts.
Perform disaster recovery testing and monitor scheduled batches using tools like Autosys or JOBSCDE.
Develop and maintain technical support documentation for the team.
Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
Collaborate with developers to prioritize bug fixes and define support tooling requirements.
Own and manage projects focused on system stability, efficiency, and effectiveness.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
Strong knowledge of SYBASE/Oracle SQL.
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, configuration management, and change processes.
Experience with batch monitoring tools like Autosys and JOBSCDE, and ITRS monitoring software.
Basic knowledge of Java, middleware, and problem management tools.
Developed communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.
