The AppleCare Technologies BPR Project Manager, Service Supply Chain joins the Business Process Reengineering team to plan and execute large-scale technical projects that simplify and scale enterprise systems across sales, service, support, supply chain, and logistics. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, including requirements definition, solution architecture, risk management, and change readiness for complex programs involving hardware repair, diagnostics platforms, and customer systems. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects to integrate technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation into service workflows. Key technical competencies include experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise-level systems, including warehouse management, transportation management, and supply chain planning. The role addresses critical business problems in the post-sales supply chain, specifically focusing on spare parts forecasting, inventory staging, repair hub operations, and reverse logistics.
Plan and lead complex technical projects while balancing scope, schedule, budget constraints, and engineering feasibility.
Drive the technological design process from initial requirements definition and user stories to solution architecture and selection.
Lead geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and third-party partners to ensure integrated solutions.
Translate business needs regarding hardware repair, diagnostics, and service processes into technical project lifecycles.
Partner with data scientists and engineers to define requirements for AI/ML and automation technologies.
Manage project risks by identifying technical dependencies, integration issues, and testability concerns throughout the lifecycle.
Facilitate capital planning, business justifications, and strategic roadmaps for new projects and scope changes.
Execute change management activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover deployments, and organizational readiness training.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
4+ years of engineering project management or technical program management experience delivering large-scale cross-functional systems or engineering programs.
Experience partnering with engineering and architecture teams to influence architectural and integration decisions.
Background in supporting system configuration, architecture, and software development life cycles in an engineering context.
Knowledge of enterprise-level systems (SAP or equivalent) and their interdependencies within complex technical ecosystems.
Familiarity with hardware repair, diagnostics, service engineering, manufacturing, quality engineering, and supply chain/logistics systems.
Experience delivering projects incorporating AI/ML, data intelligence, or automation technologies as part of core solution design.
Master's degree in a related technical field (preferred); 8+ years of experience; PMP or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
