The AppleCare Technologies BPR Project Manager, Service Supply Chain joins the Business Process Reengineering team to plan and execute large-scale technical projects aimed at simplifying and scaling enterprise systems. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, including requirements definition, solution architecture, risk management, and change readiness for cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and architects to integrate complex technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation into service operations. The position requires expertise in hardware repair, diagnostics, and logistics, specifically within forward and reverse supply chain networks including spare parts forecasting and inventory staging. Key technical requirements include proficiency in SAP or equivalent enterprise systems like Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems to solve complex problems involving service quality, manufacturing workflows, and global distribution across diverse engineering and business functions.
Plan and lead complex technical projects while balancing scope, schedule, budget, and engineering feasibility.
Drive the technological design process from requirements definition and user stories to solution architecture and selection.
Lead geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and third-party partners.
Translate service operation knowledge into clear technical objectives for hardware repair, diagnostics, and customer journeys.
Partner with data scientists and engineers to define requirements for AI/ML and automation technologies.
Manage project risks by identifying technical dependencies, integration issues, and testability concerns.
Facilitate capital planning, business justifications, and strategic roadmaps for new projects and scope changes.
Execute change management activities including UAT support, cutover deployment, and organizational readiness training.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
4+ years of engineering project management or technical program management experience delivering large-scale cross-functional systems or programs.
Experience partnering with engineering and architecture teams to influence architectural and integration decisions.
Background in supporting system configuration, architecture, and software development life cycles in an engineering context.
Knowledge of enterprise-level systems (SAP or equivalent) and their interdependencies within complex technical ecosystems.
Familiarity with hardware repair, diagnostics, service engineering, manufacturing, quality engineering, and supply chain logistics.
Experience delivering projects incorporating AI/ML, data intelligence, or automation technologies as part of core solution designs.
Master's degree in a related technical field (preferred); 8+ years of experience; PMP or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
