What you'll do

Design and architect scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies while communicating the business value of the platform.
Lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, proof of value exercises, and technical documentation to win deals.
Partner with sales teams to prioritize opportunities, qualify leads, and develop account growth strategies.
Generate demand through self-driven technical initiatives, industry trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
Build customer relationships and identify internal champions to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
Provide thought leadership by publishing articles, speaking at conferences, and mentoring other team members.
Relay field feedback to the product team to drive continuous innovation in MongoDB solutions.

What we're looking for

Requires 12+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
Requires at least 7 years of pre-sales experience navigating complex enterprise software sales cycles.
Requires at least 3 years of professional experience with modern or popular programming languages like Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
Must have experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-premises.
Must possess excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business leadership.
Requires a strong understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
Ability to travel up to 25% for work purposes.
