What you'll do

Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies while communicating the business value of the platform.
Execute technical sales activities including discovery, demonstrations, proof of value, sizing, and documentation.
Generate demand through self-driven technical initiatives and participation in industry trade shows and marketing events.
Build customer relationships and identify internal champions to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
Provide feedback to the product team to drive innovation and improve MongoDB solutions.
Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share expertise through public speaking or publications.

What we're looking for

Must have at least 12 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
Must have at least 7 years of pre-sales experience navigating complex enterprise software sales cycles.
Must have at least 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting or popular programming languages.
Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-premise is required.
Ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technology and business leadership.
A Master’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Experience with database programming, data engineering, AI/ML projects, SRE practices, or certifications (preferred).
