As an Advisory / Senior Solutions Architect, you will join a team of seasoned technical sales professionals and architects to guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with sales executives to solve complex business problems by providing technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof of value. Your daily responsibilities include architecting performant infrastructure for large software projects, articulating the business value of optimization strategies, and proactively generating demand through technical initiatives. The role requires proficiency in modern scripting languages like Python, Node.js, and SQL, as well as programming languages such as C/C++, Java, and C#. You will work with technologies including Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, and RAG AI architectures to help customers modernize legacy workloads and transition into the AI era.

What we're looking for
Ideally 12+ years of experience in a customer facing role, with at least 3 years in presales for enterprise software (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting languages like Python, Node.js, and SQL or programming languages like C/C++, Java, and C#.
Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-premises.
Demonstrated ability to review complex architectures and provide guidance on improving them using technology.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to business leadership.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience with cloud providers, data engineering, AI/ML projects, or specific certifications (preferred).
