Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Card Management team, you will help design and develop tooling and infrastructure to manage a growing fleet of embedded Linux systems. You will be one of the engineers responsible for delivering a highly available, and secure fleet of critical SDN infrastructure.
Our team owns onboarding new generation network technologies, deployment tooling, patching, monitoring, automation, access controls, and metrics reporting. We are a nexus with many partner teams and work across OCI to support their applications on our platform.

- Participate in our on-call rotation which requires monitoring our fleet and associated services.

Qualifications
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. Role Overview
As a Site Deployment Specialist – BMS, you will deliver BMS deployments for new and retrofit facilities, ensuring reliable monitoring, control, and alarm functionality in hyperscale environments. You will coordinate vendors and internal teams through design, build, commissioning, and turnover, with strong attention to security, standards, and operational usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own BMS deployment execution across requirements, design coordination, vendor management, installation oversight, testing, commissioning support, and go-live stabilization.
- Define and validate BMS sequences and strategies supporting high availability across HVAC and critical infrastructure monitoring.
- Integrate BMS with adjacent platforms such as DCIM, OT/IT networks, and site monitoring/automation systems.
- Provide escalation-level troubleshooting for complex integration and commissioning issues; document root causes and corrective actions.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain protection and controls standards
- Define the protection and controls philosophy, including scheme selection, coordination principles, operating assumptions, and expected system behavior under normal and abnormal conditions
- Review protection design packages, including single line diagrams, relaying and metering diagrams, schematics, logic, and commissioning and test procedures performed by developers, EPCs, OEMs, and consultants, and drive closure on technical gaps and open items
- Develop, validate, and maintain relay settings, protection logic, and protection documentation across protection zones and operating modes
- Experience supporting post-event analysis using oscillography, SER, and disturbance records, and translating findings into durable corrective actions
- Lead protection-related troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions; assess existing facilities and recommend upgrades and replacements
- Partner with operations and design engineering teams to improve reliability outcomes, standard adoption, and consistency across the portfolio
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10–15 years of protection and controls engineering experience across substations, HV/MV Systems, and large campus electrical systems
- Demonstrated experience protecting on-site generation (rotating and inverter-based) and supporting microgrid operating modes, including grid-connected and islanded operation and transitions
- Experience developing and reviewing relay settings, protection logic, and commissioning test plans
- Familiarity with IEEE standards and utility interconnection practices; NERC exposure as applicable to site context
Preferred qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with IEC 61850, relay messaging, time synchronization, and integration through RTAC/SCADA

Role Overview
As Facilities Manager supporting our Mechanical Facilities, you will lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mission-critical mechanical systems supporting OCI data centers. This role owns mechanical maintenance execution, vendor performance, operational readiness, and technician leadership across cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
You will oversee the operation and maintenance of systems such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, fan walls, pumps, etc and associated controls, ensuring uptime is protected and work is executed safely, consistently, and to Oracle standards. This role is focused on plant operations and service execution rather than long-range design authority.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations, maintenance, and service execution for critical mechanical and HVAC infrastructure.
- Own mechanical plant readiness, including preventive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, and restoration activities.
- Single POC as the technical lead for all mechanical systems, including incident escalation.
- Manage technicians, contractors, and service vendors, ensuring strong safety performance, quality, documentation, and SLA adherence.
- Drive troubleshooting and response for mechanical failures, abnormal conditions, and performance degradation impacting uptime.
- Track and improve KPIs such as availability, backlog, MTTR, repeat failures, maintenance completion, and corrective action closure.
- Partner with engineering, commissioning, and deployment teams on retrofits, upgrades, system turnover, and operational acceptance.
- Lead or support root cause analysis for major or recurring issues and ensure corrective actions are fully implemented and sustained.
- Maintain audit-ready records including procedures, service reports, maintenance history, turnover documentation, and CMMS data.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Facilities Operations Services organization responsible for maintenance execution, operational support, and field service readiness across mission-critical data center environments.

- Establish and track operational KPIs including maintenance completion, backlog health, MTTR, repeat failures, vendor performance, SLA attainment, corrective action closure, technician productivity, and service quality metrics.
- Ensure strong contractor and vendor management practices, including performance oversight, service quality, compliance, safety adherence, cost control, and issue escalation.
- Partner closely with site operations, plant leadership, engineering, reliability, commissioning, construction, and deployment teams to ensure service activities support safe operations, maintainability, and uptime protection.
- Lead service-related incident support and recovery coordination for major mechanical, electrical, or integrated facility events, ensuring clear communication, disciplined response, and sustained follow-through on corrective actions.
- Drive standardization of service procedures, execution models, planning practices, reporting, staffing approaches, and governance mechanisms across service teams.
- Champion safety and compliance across all service operations, including electrical safety, LOTO, contractor safety controls, environmental requirements, procedural discipline, and safe execution in a 24/7 mission-critical environment.
- Support workforce planning, staffing strategy, succession planning, technician capability development, and leadership coaching across service organizations.
- Identify systemic risks and recurring operational issues, then drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve service reliability, execution consistency, efficiency, and field readiness.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on service performance, operational risk, resource needs, major incidents, organizational capability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance leadership, technical services, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
- 5+ years of experience leading managers, service teams, or vendor organizations in data centers, utilities, industrial plants, healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, or similar uptime-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including cooling systems, HVAC, power distribution, backup generation, UPS, switchgear, and related maintenance and service workflows.
- Proven experience leading maintenance execution, vendor performance, service operations, and restoration support in 24x7 operating environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in project management, construction management, remediation, retrofit delivery, or technical infrastructure programs.

- Strong experience in complex and technical construction environments, ideally including mission-critical, industrial, utility, healthcare, semiconductor, or data center facilities.

Job Description
As Senior Facilities Service Manager – Mechanical, you will lead the onsite mechanical service and maintenance team responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems supporting hyperscale data center operations. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role serves as the immediate manager for Facilities Technicians and is accountable for execution quality, service readiness, technician development, and lifecycle maintenance performance across mechanical infrastructure.
This role is focused on service execution, uptime protection, mean time to repair reduction, and long-term asset performance rather than mechanical system design. A key objective of this position is to build, lead, and continuously improve an in-house self-perform maintenance program, ensuring the team has the capability, processes, and discipline to safely execute maintenance and troubleshooting activities in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onsite mechanical facilities technician team responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service execution for mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems.
- Serve as the direct manager for Mechanical Facilities Technicians, providing day-to-day leadership, work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and development.
- Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program for mechanical systems, including planning, training, execution standards, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee maintenance and service execution for large-scale mechanical and cooling infrastructure, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and associated controls interfaces.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and internal service teams, enforcing SLAs, workmanship standards, response expectations, and safe execution practices.
- Track system health, equipment reliability, energy performance, maintenance effectiveness, and service execution metrics, using data to improve uptime and reduce repeat failures.
- Own mechanical safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training related to maintenance execution, refrigerant handling, contractor oversight, and safe work practices.
- Support incident response, service restoration, capacity changes, maintenance planning, and post-event reviews to strengthen reliability and execution discipline.
- Partner closely with Facility Managers, Engineering, Reliability, Controls, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure effective handoffs, operational readiness, and maintainability of installed systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures, spare parts readiness, documentation quality, technician capability, and service response standards.
- Ensure the site is prepared to support 24/7 mission-critical operations through proper staffing, escalation readiness, training, and maintenance planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service, critical facilities maintenance, or related uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, semiconductor, or large commercial infrastructure.
- 1–3+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or field maintenance operations.
- Strong practical understanding of large-scale cooling systems, HVAC service operations, controls interfaces, redundancy strategies, and energy-performance considerations.
- Experience managing maintenance execution, vendor performance, technician development, and incident response in operational environments.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, facilities management, or related field preferred; equivalent technical and field leadership experience also valued.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong crisis management and service leadership in high-availability environments.
- Proven ability to improve maintenance quality, service reliability, and execution discipline.
- Strong people leadership with the ability to develop technicians and reinforce accountability.
- Clear communicator who can coordinate across operations, engineering, and vendor teams.

Preferred Skills / Certifications
- Experience with mission-critical cooling infrastructure including chillers, CRAH/CRAC systems, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, valves, and mechanical distribution systems.
- Familiarity with BMS/controls integration, alarm response, trend analysis, and service coordination with automation teams.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, CMMS systems, energy optimization, and service KPI tracking.
- EPA Section 608 Certification preferred where refrigerant-handling responsibilities apply.
- HVAC trade license or mechanical certification where applicable.
- OEM training or manufacturer certifications related to chillers, cooling systems, controls platforms, or critical mechanical equipment preferred.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
This is a mission-critical onsite role supporting 24/7 operations where continuous uptime is essential; as such, regular attendance, schedule flexibility, and response readiness are required. To perform these duties, you must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push/pull objects, and climb stairs. You may be required to lift or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for loads 40 pounds or greater. You must also be capable of maintaining balance while working from ladders or elevated platforms. These tasks are performed in an industrial environment and must be executed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, to maintain the continuous health of facility infrastructure.
