As an RFIC Design Engineer within the Wireless Radio team, you will contribute to the architecture, design, and validation of radio transceivers integrated into wireless SoCs. You will perform hands-on design tasks ranging from transistor-level feasibility studies and power, area, and performance trade-off analyses to actual designs, simulations, and extractions for mass production. Your daily work involves developing building blocks such as TX, RX, and PLL-LOGen chains, designing RF and Analog loopbacks for calibration, and addressing Co-Existence scenarios. You will utilize tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, Matlab, and EM simulation tools like EMX and HFSS. The role requires expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design, specifically involving LNAs, PAs, mixers, and data converters to solve complex wireless connectivity challenges within high-performance systems.

What you'll do

Deliver RFIC designs for wireless SoCs from initial concept and architecture through to mass production.
Perform transistor-level feasibility studies and analyze trade-offs between power, area, and performance.
Design and deliver radio transceiver building blocks including TX, RX, and PLL-LOGen components.
Develop RF and Analog loopbacks for system calibration and compensation.
Design circuits to meet specific Co-Existence requirements in complex wireless environments.
Collaborate with test engineers to debug and optimize the wireless connectivity chip during productization.
Correlate design measurements against silicon results to ensure compliance with production specifications.

What we're looking for

BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design including LNAs, PAs, PLL/VCO/DCO/LOGEN blocks, mixers, and data converters.
Understanding of analog design concepts such as noise analysis, linearity, mismatch, stability, and other impairments.
Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, Matlab, and EM simulation tools like EMX or HFSS.
Experience in silicon characterization and debugging.
MSEE and PhD degrees (preferred).
Deep experience in crafting and bringing wireless transceivers into mass production (preferred).
Familiarity with mixed-signal mode verification methodology such as SystemVerilog, AMS, or Nanotime (preferred).
