Samsara's Mission

Improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the operations that power the global economy.

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Enterprise AI Product Manager to own and scale Samsara's enterprise AI tool portfolio across non-R&D functions. This is a product ownership role — you are responsible for how enterprise AI tools get evaluated, adopted, embedded, and scaled as a platform across the company.

You will set the adoption strategy for our enterprise AI toolset, define what good looks like across the organization, build the business cases that justify continued investment, and drive measurable outcomes across 9 functional business organizations. You will partner closely with AI champions, BizTech delivery teams, Security, and Legal to turn AI potential into durable operational value.

If you are a systems thinker who can move between portfolio strategy and hands-on product work, and who gets energized by closing the gap between what enterprise AI can do and what the business actually needs — this role is for you.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US and Canada except San Francisco Bay Area and New York Metro City. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role. You should apply If:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact — helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In This Role, You Will:

Enterprise AI Product Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end adoption & go-forward strategy for Samsara's enterprise AI tool portfolio (for eg. Gemini, Slack AI, Zoom AI, Glean AI, Claude, ChatGPT): own the overall roadmap for each portfolio tool, design and run targeted pilots as needed, set quantitative success metrics (e.g., usage, time savings, user satisfaction), and drive phased, measurable rollouts across the company (as needed).
  • Serve as the product and integration owner for enterprise AI platforms: evaluate and maintain a current view of the enterprise AI tool landscape, compare and position tools against one another, drive key integrations into core business systems, in service of teams building AI-powered workflows and agents.
  • Partner with BizTech, Security, and Legal to operationalize access, licensing, and governance for enterprise AI tools — including streamlined approval paths, clear eligibility policies, and well-documented support workflows.

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Co-develop and maintain a clear Enterprise AI Roadmap identifying and prioritizing high-value AI opportunities in partnership with functional leaders and AI champions.
  • Translate org-level business needs into well-sequenced AI product initiatives with explicit investment theses and portfolio-level prioritization that surfaces the highest-impact bets first.
  • Actively challenge platform and process constraints to bridge the gap between business needs and technical feasibility — driving solutions that deliver step-change improvements in efficiency and adoption.

Impact Measurement

  • Partner with our Saas team to  maintain a robust, rolling set of enterprise metrics for non-R&D AI initiatives, including value drivers, ROI analysis, adoption metrics, and success benchmarks.
  • Own the measurement framework for AI product value — tracking efficiency gains, adoption lift, and workflow impact across functions to demonstrate the cumulative ROI of the enterprise AI portfolio over time.

Enablement, Adoption & Champion Activation

  • Partner with our Saas team to lead enablement, training, and communications for enterprise AI tools: maintain central how-to guides, run AI learning sessions and office hours, steward community channels for questions and tips, and consistently showcase high-impact use cases and wins.
  • Foster a culture of AI enthusiasm and innovation by maintaining a network of AI champions across the organization — connecting ideas to build/delivery vehicles and inspiring replicable, high-ROI use cases across departments.
  • Act as the voice of AI users: collect feedback and usage data, synthesize themes, influence vendor and internal roadmaps, and proactively seed new use cases (e.g., hackathon projects, workflow automations, and department-wide expansions).

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing portfolio updates, managing expectations, and translating complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain decision clarity and investment thesis quality across all AI tool decisions, ensuring senior leaders have the context needed to make confident, aligned choices on the enterprise AI stack.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business operations, technology implementations, or product management.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI tools and platforms (e.g.LLMs, MCP, workflow automation, and experience deploying enterprise tools eg. Gemini, Zoom AI, Slack AI, Atlassian AI, Claude, ChatGPT and others).
  • Demonstrated AI product or transformation experience — you've driven or supported meaningful enterprise AI adoption, not just experimented with it.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for varied audiences and drive organizational change.
  • Proven ability to hold the strategic view while managing product details — you can write a business case in the morning and review an integration spec in the afternoon.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with hardware/software solution environments, particularly in Business Technology.
  • Experience managing an AI champion network or center of excellence.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating and deploying enterprise-grade AI platforms and integrations.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to track and support the remediation of identified vulnerabilities, providing guidance on best practices.
  • Assist in analyzing and triaging vulnerabilities, escalating critical issues to senior security engineers or Security Operations as needed.
  • Participate in security incident investigations related to high-profile vulnerabilities, helping gather data and assess potential impact on Samsara infrastructure.
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvements to streamline vulnerability management workflows.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) in daily work.
  • Be regularly on call to support

You take Security seriously, but understand there is a business to operate and strive to build low friction solutions and decisions made in close partnership with others. On a typical day, you might work with Samsara’s legal or procurement team to discuss an ongoing review of a vendor, build and refine AI enabled workflows to scale the vendor risk program, and collaborate with teams in engineering to collect evidence for an upcoming audit.

This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru. We are open to candidates currently residing anywhere within India; however, relocation assistance will not be provided.

  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. Youwill be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with the local Senior Manager of Security Engineering to provide programmatic updates and communicate both program, third-party, and technical risk to the broader Information Security leadership team
  • Drive automation and efficiency in the TPRM program through the use of third-parties, such as Zip and Vanta, and creating native solutions; ensuring security reviews and reassessments scale with company growth.
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, and Privacy to ensure vendor risks are identified, documented, and mitigated throughout the vendor lifecycle.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 3+ years of experience in the governance, risk, and compliance space
  • Experience implementing or maintaining vendor-risk programs
  • Experience performing security and maturity assessments
  • Supporting the creation or maintenance of risk registers, compliance inventories, and control mappings across internal and external systems
  • Ability to work with systems teams to collaboratively implement security controls across a diverse range of systems, such as Okta, Slack, Salesforce, and internal tooling
  • Professional experience coordinating and interacting with external auditors, internal engineering teams, business stakeholders, senior leadership, and security operations teams on procurement activities, audit controls and compliance requirements
  • Experience conducting vendor risk assessments, including reviewing security certifications, penetration tests, and policies.
  • Strong understanding of vendor integration risks and permission scoping across SaaS platforms (eg. Slack, Google Workspace, and Salesforce)
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings and requirements into clear business risks and requirements to non technical stakeholders.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience working with NIST Cybersecurity Framework profiles, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks
  • Experience creating workflows through automation and AI assitance
  • Experience working within common GRC and procurement platforms such as Zip and Vanta.
  • Experience managing high volumes of vendor requests and competing priorities.
  • Prior assessment experience in the Software-as-a-Service industry
