We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, experienced Product Manager to lead multiple products in the Foundational and Open Solutions value stream of Broadcom's mainframe software division. These products include TPX® Session Management for z/OS, VM: Manager, VM:Secure and several others running on z/OS, z/VM and z/VSE(VSEn) platforms of the Mainframe ecosystem.

The Product Manager is directly responsible for the success of mainframe foundational products by a strong collaboration and partnership with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Sales, to deliver relevant industry leading features in alignment with our Value Steam strategy. Success in this job requires identifying market driven use cases and service offerings for the product set, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and driving customer adoption. This role requires strong mainframe background, understanding of the B2B business environments, software sales, licensing & contracts, and skills to develop healthy relationships with key enterprise customers and partners.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- a vital role in assisting the development of the vision, strategy, roadmap and releases of new features or migration plans for this product set.
- as intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D to advocate for the product internally.
- Prioritize product features by analyzing customer needs and breaking them down into functional stories working closely with the Product Owner roles.
- (and remove) roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines, and business objectives.
- Partner with Architecture teams solutioning new features and capabilities, including but not limited to exploring applicability of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning technologies
- lead sales initiatives (necessary) for customer adoption of new product features in the existing market
- Well versed in preparing and presenting to executive stakeholders including CXO leadership.
- measure customer adoption and retention based on the GTM plan and tactics to achieve product KPIs
*Required Education, Experience, and Skills*
- Masters Degree in Engineering AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development
- Knowledge of mainframe software industry, transformation trends, and insights is required
- Knowledge of proprietary software partnerships, contracts and vendor relationships is required
- Expertise in managing complex cross-functional, cross-business, cross-disciplinary projects
- Working with business stakeholders in partnership to achieve goals and objectives
- Advanced understanding of software licensing and product delivery in a B2B business model
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including executive level presentations
- Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills
- Experience working with product and engineering teams in a collaborative software development environment and defining Go-To-Market plan.
- Understanding of managing and triaging customer requests
- Leadership, organization, and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $123,800 - $198,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
