Associate Computer Systems Analyst, Linux

What you'll do

• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware in the asset management system.
• Resolve technical problems and answer queries regarding hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
• Perform administration tasks for multiple networks following security policies and procedures.
• Follow documented technical processes and procedures to support assigned job duties.
• Isolate issues between software, firmware, hardware, operating systems, networks, and applications.
• Support environments by managing tasks within ticketing systems like ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Report task statuses for recurring and non-recurring efforts in written and oral formats.
• Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with 0 years of experience, an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience.
• Must have a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years or be enrolled in the CE Program.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
• Must have U.S. Citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain a Security+ certification within 9 months of the start date.
• Must have experience using Linux.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work on-site in Melbourne, FL, and work after hours or weekends as needed.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• Active Security+ (preferred).
• Experience supporting environments by means of ticketing requirements systems like ServiceNow or JIRA (preferred).
