What you'll do

Perform Linux system administration tasks for classified government contracts.
Install, upgrade, and patch Linux systems to support configuration management.
Manage file systems, disk space, and virus protection on a routine basis.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, network, and application issues across multiple platforms.
Maintain backup and recovery services for networked and standalone computers.
Perform security audit logging and documentation in compliance with Information Systems Security Manager requirements.
Test new product releases to ensure system compatibility and minimize user impact.
Manage technical tasks and track status updates using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or JIRA.

What we're looking for

Must have a current US Government Top Secret security clearance.
Must possess a Security+ or greater certification.
Must have knowledge of Linux Server Operating Systems and workstation support.
Required education/experience: Master's with 0 years, Bachelor's with 2 years, Associate's with 4 years, or High School with 6 years.
Experience in Linux Server Administration in a classified environment (required for Level 3).
Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field (preferred).
Experience managing systems within NISPOM, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG environments (preferred).
Experience with virtualization, containerization, networking, scripting, or cross-platform operating systems (preferred).
