As a Wireless Systems Integration Engineer at our silicon design group, you will join a dynamic team responsible for the system integration of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products. Your primary focus will be on bringing up, validating, and tuning WiFi PHY/Radio systems across various platforms including emulation, FPGA, and real silicon. You will also develop optimal calibration algorithms in Python/Matlab to address radio impairments such as IQ imbalance and DC offset, collaborating closely with PHY, firmware, RFIC, and digital hardware designers for efficient implementation. Additionally, you will create test plans, analyze results, and debug issues to ensure top performance of our wireless products, which are designed to meet the high standards expected by millions of Apple customers worldwide. This role requires hands-on experience in chip bringup, familiarity with calibration algorithms, and a solid understanding of communication theory, DSP, OFDM systems, and radio architectures. Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or C/C++ is essential, along with knowledge of wireless test lab equipment and scripting languages for automation.
