What you'll do

Bring up, integrate, and tune PHY and radio systems on first-silicon wireless SoCs.
Characterize and validate PHY/RF performance across various operating modes and conditions.
Debug and root-cause system-level issues involving PHY algorithms, RF circuits, and firmware.
Develop and automate test and characterization workflows to accelerate silicon evaluation.
Analyze results to identify bottlenecks and improve calibration algorithms like IQ imbalance and power control.
Ensure robust performance across different process and temperature corners.
Document findings and drive silicon maturity through iterative bring-up cycles until mass production.

What we're looking for

BS degree and a minimum of 3-10 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong fundamentals in RF/PHY systems, signal processing, communication theory, and analog impairments for OFDM-based transceivers.
Preferred MSEE or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, LTE/WCDMA/GSM, or 802.11ad/ay (preferred).
Experience in system bring-up, integration, characterization, and debug of real wireless silicon in a lab (preferred).
Experience using and understanding the theory of operation for signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers (preferred).
Experience developing test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, and database interfaces (preferred).
Experience with Python, Matlab, Perl, C/C++, or C# (preferred).
