WiFi Connectivity Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies to validate connectivity performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems.
• Define technical requirements and troubleshoot complex issues to drive system optimization.
• Perform hands-on lab testing to validate PHY/MAC functionality.
• Develop automation frameworks and maintain robust test infrastructure for regression and continuous integration.
• Validate advanced wireless features including Throughput, RvR, MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, and Coexistence.
• Utilize RF test equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Use network analysis and debugging tools like Wireshark and iperf to analyze system performance.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
• Candidates must have strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C# is required.
• Experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments is preferred.
• Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems with scalable test frameworks is preferred.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers is preferred.
• Familiarity with network analysis tools like Wireshark, iperf, and protocol analyzers is preferred.
