You will also utilize RF test equipment like signal analyzers and spectrum analyzers alongside network analysis tools such as Wireshark and iperf to solve complex technical challenges in wireless communication.

What you'll do

Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies to validate connectivity performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems.
Define technical requirements and troubleshoot complex issues to drive system optimization.
Build automation frameworks for wireless testing and maintain robust infrastructure for regression and continuous integration.
Perform hands-on lab testing to validate PHY/MAC functionality.
Validate critical functionalities including Throughput, RvR, MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, and Coexistence.
Utilize RF test equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Analyze network traffic using protocol analyzers, Wireshark, and iperf tools.
Configure and control access points to evaluate AP-client interactions.

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree is required.
An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) is required.
Strong programming skills are required in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#.
Experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments is preferred.
Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems with a focus on scalable test frameworks is preferred.
Proficiency with RF test equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers is preferred.
Familiarity with network analysis tools like Wireshark and iperf is preferred.
