You will also utilize RF test equipment like signal analyzers and spectrum analyzers alongside network analysis tools such as Wireshark and iperf to solve complex technical challenges in wireless communication.

What you'll do

Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies to validate the performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems.
Define technical requirements and troubleshoot complex issues to drive system optimization.
Build and maintain automation frameworks for regression testing and continuous integration efforts.
Perform hands-on lab testing to validate PHY and MAC functionality.
Validate critical wireless features including Throughput, RvR, MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, and Coexistence.
Utilize RF test equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers for validation.
Analyze network traffic using protocol analyzers, Wireshark, and iperf to debug connectivity issues.

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree is required.
An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) is required.
Strong programming skills are required in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#.
Experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments is preferred.
Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems with scalable test frameworks is preferred.
Proficiency with RF test equipment like signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers is preferred.
Familiarity with network analysis tools such as protocol analyzers, Wireshark, and iperf is preferred.
