Wireless RF Systems Validation Engineer (Connectivity)

What you'll do

• Validate and characterize wireless system performance across WLAN, BT, UWB, and Thread technologies.
• Execute validation test plans to meet industry standards, emissions requirements, and specific use cases.
• Perform root cause analysis and debug technical issues independently for assigned products.
• Implement test systems and define requirements for device bring-up and validation readiness.
• Optimize radio performance by utilizing design knobs to achieve regulatory compliance while maintaining user experience.
• Support manufacturing testing and global certification processes including FCC, ETSI, and Bluetooth SIG.
• Analyze data to communicate technical insights and issues to cross-functional engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Practical knowledge of at least one connectivity wireless technology including WLAN, BT, UWB, or Thread.
• Experience with bench level wireless testing and debugging at the module, reference board, or system level.
• Knowledge of connectivity industry standards such as 802.11, Bluetooth SIG, and 802.15 (preferred).
• Expertise in configuring complex RF test setups and characterizing devices against global regulatory standards using laboratory equipment (preferred).
• Experience with device certification processes including industry certifications and regulatory compliance (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
