VP , Software Engineering Manager leads the strategic direction and engineering execution for the firm's API Management ecosystem. Own the enterprise Kong API Gateway platform strategy, roadmap, and operational excellence.

Establish standardized API design, governance, and lifecycle management practices across the organization.
Build and lead high-performing teams of engineers, architects, and managers using DevSecOps and SRE principles.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of technology leadership experience, including leading large engineering or platform organizations.
5+ years of experience managing API Management or Integration Platforms at enterprise scale.
3+ years of experience with Kong Gateway, Kong Enterprise, API Gateway technologies, or similar platforms like Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Management.
5+ years of experience leading large-scale modernization and migration programs.
Deep expertise in AI Technologies, EKS, Kafka, and ELK (preferred).
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern software engineering practices (preferred).
Experience managing managers, leading geographically distributed teams, and influencing senior executives to drive enterprise transformation (preferred).
