JOB TITLE: VP Principle Software Engineer
The VP Principle Software Engineer joins the cloud technology team to shape the future of the enterprise cloud ecosystem. This leader designs, develops, and supports scalable enterprise applications and platform services within cloud and hybrid-cloud environments. Key responsibilities include leading solution architecture, platform modernization, and software delivery while collaborating with Product, Architecture, and Quality Engineering teams. The role requires expertise in cloud-native application development, microservices, and distributed systems. Candidates must possess hands-on experience with AWS platforms, including ECS, EKS, Fargate, and Lambda, alongside full-stack skills in C#, Angular, and relational databases. The position solves complex technical problems by implementing DevSecOps methodologies, Infrastructure-as-Code via Terraform, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure high-performing, secure, and reliable enterprise platform scalability.
Lead the design and development of scalable enterprise applications and platform services in cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
Design solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and cloud engineering best practices.
Develop and support highly scalable platform components, APIs, applications, and services to meet enterprise business needs.
Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical support for complex application and platform issues.
Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend architecture, process, and platform improvements for performance and reliability.
Contribute to solution planning, technical estimates, and the development of technology roadmaps.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all solutions throughout their entire lifecycle.
Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of experience in software development, application architecture, and enterprise technology delivery.
5+ years of experience designing and developing cloud or hybrid-cloud solutions.
5+ years of experience with full-stack application development using C#, Angular (or similar frameworks), and relational databases.
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions on AWS cloud platforms.
Expertise in cloud architecture, cloud-native application development, microservices, and distributed systems.
Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies, software delivery practices, and automation frameworks.
Cloud engineering or cloud architecture certifications (preferred).
