Software Engineering Manager, VP, Private Wealth Technology

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using C#/.NET, Python, and AWS cloud-native architectures.
• Build scalable data pipelines using dbt to provide reliable, analytics-ready datasets across the platform.
• Partner with architects and product leaders to define the technical vision and execution strategy for the platform.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and code quality guidelines across the team.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices using tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and containerization.
• Translate business requirements from product managers and stakeholders into technical solutions.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with at least 3 years in technical leadership roles.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C# with experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js for full-stack development.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud-native architectures and services on AWS, including Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices patterns, data pipelines, SQL Server, and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and modern CI/CD pipelines including GitLab Runners and Dbt.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and integration with SaaS products including Salesforce.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, large language models, and vector databases is a plus (preferred).
• Knowledge of Salesforce development and configuration is a plus (preferred).
• Experience in the financial services industry or related field is preferred (preferred).
