JOB TITLE: Data Visualization Engineer, Lead As a Data Visualization Engineer, Lead, you will join a team to provide technical leadership and mentorship while overseeing the development of algorithms and systems. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, digging into data-rich environments to transform disparate data points into objective answers. Your daily responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines, executing transformation stages, and developing interactive dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders. You will utilize Python, R, SQL, and Foundry, including Code Repository, alongside tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. The role requires expertise in data analysis, visualization, and database-driven application design to solve complex problems across private and public sectors, including fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Build and maintain data pipelines using Foundry and Code Repository.
Execute data transformation stages to turn disparate data points into objective answers.
Oversee the development of algorithms and data science systems.
Guide and mentor team members on data science projects and technical tasks.
Identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to solve client challenges.
Clarify requirements with business analysts to respond to reporting and dashboard needs.
Investigate data quality and discern structures and relationships within complex datasets.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
5+ years of experience with data analysis, including investigating data quality and relationships.
5+ years of experience with data visualization and basic design principles.
5+ years of experience with data pipeline engineering and executing transformation stages.
4+ years of experience with programming languages including Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation.
Experience working in Foundry, including building or maintaining data pipelines with Code Repository.
Ability to develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik (preferred).
Secret clearance.
