The Vice President - Senior Lead Architect | Enterprise Architecture joins the Enterprise Architecture team to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms. This role involves representing product families in technical governance bodies, providing technical guidance to business teams and vendors, and driving decisions that influence product design and technical operations. Key responsibilities include developing secure production code, reviewing code, and establishing reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns across SDLC practices. The position requires expertise in software architecture, cloud, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Candidates must demonstrate experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities while ensuring resiliency, security, and auditability. The work focuses on shaping target state architecture, evaluating emerging technologies, and managing technical processes within a highly regulated financial services environment.
Represent product families in technical governance bodies and propose improvements to architecture governance practices.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning with human-in-the-loop validation.
Evaluate new technologies against existing standards to influence the adoption of leading-edge solutions.
Drive decisions regarding product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code.
Establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC and toolchain practices.
Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture and technical processes.
Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
Strong judgment and communication skills to influence technical direction across teams.
Experience defining enterprise technology strategy or transformation roadmaps within large financial services or complex organizations (preferred).
