What you'll do

  • Design and deliver secure, resilient, and scalable architecture solutions for front-office trading and market-operations workflows.
  • Apply cloud-native principles and AWS expertise to assess solution designs and provide architectural recommendations.
  • Integrate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities into architecture analysis, design, and documentation while ensuring data security.
  • Produce technical design artifacts and ensure software code development meets all specified design constraints.
  • Write and maintain high-quality production code and algorithms for synchronous system services.
  • Represent products in architectural governance bodies to influence standards alignment and risk reviews.
  • Lead the evaluation of new technologies to develop recommendations for modernizing the product architecture.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled patterns and guardrails across the software development life cycle.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software applications and architecture development in disciplines like cloud, AI, machine learning, or distributed systems.
  • Working knowledge of applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within software engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled features and architectural patterns while maintaining security, resiliency, and auditability.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in coding in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile practices, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Experience building agentic AI applications, hybrid/multi-cloud models, and formal architecture governance frameworks (preferred).
