What you'll do

Define and own the enterprise data product and architecture strategy to align technology with business goals.
Establish architectural standards, governance processes, and design reviews across all engineering teams.
Design complex cross-system solutions including integration patterns, API strategies, and cloud infrastructure.
Lead technical strategy for data modeling, quality, governance, and compliance requirements.
Partner with executive leadership to develop multi-year technology roadmaps and make build-vs-buy decisions.
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of solutions and data architects.
Serve as the primary escalation point for architectural risks, technical debt, and design conflicts.
Evaluate emerging technologies in cloud services, AI/ML platforms, and data tooling for adoption.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of experience in software or data engineering roles.
Must have 5+ years of experience in an architecture leadership capacity.
Proven experience architecting both solutions and data at scale, including warehousing, pipelines, and modeling.
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices/API architecture, and modern data stack tools.
Track record of building and leading high-performing architecture or engineering teams.
Experience establishing architecture governance and design standards in a growing or matrixed organization.
Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and MLOps practices (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or cloud solutions architect certifications (preferred).
