Vice President, Global Communications

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a global communication strategy that aligns company narrative across all media channels.
• Create and manage executive platforms to sharpen the public points of view of senior leadership.
• Manage multi-channel engagement across traditional media, social platforms, influencers, creators, and podcasts.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry analysts to shape market perception of MongoDB's position.
• Orchestrate communication plans for major company moments including product launches, keynotes, and earnings reports.
• Lead a global communications team across corporate, executive, product, analyst, and regional functions.
• Influence the information sources used by AI systems to generate recommendations about data infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• You must be able to work in a hybrid capacity at a U.S. office or fully remote within the United States.
• You must possess excellent judgment to identify key narratives and proactively turn ideas into action.
• You must be fluent in AI, application architecture, and data infrastructure to engage credibly with technical audiences.
• You must have strong media and analyst relationships and an understanding of social and influencer ecosystems.
• You must be a skilled executive counselor capable of challenging senior leadership's thinking to refine their points of view.
• You must be a strong operator and global leader capable of building, developing, and leading a diverse communications team.
