Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) / M365 Engineer

What you'll do

• Engineer, design, and provide operational support for the Unified Communications (UCC) infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain UCC systems by performing routine patch management and security updates.
• Configure and enforce tenant-wide Microsoft Teams meeting, voice routing, and messaging policies.
• Troubleshoot call quality metrics, media stream performance, and meeting connectivity issues using Teams Admin Center.
• Administer OneDrive for Business synchronization policies, personal site quotas, and retention holds.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for UCC infrastructure using standard agency tools.
• Oversee software and hardware installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various communication tools.
• Document technical architecture, configurations, alert thresholds, and operational parameters.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen or US Person who has lived in the United States for the past three consecutive years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field (additional years of experience may be substituted).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Unified Communications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience focused on Microsoft Teams.
• Strong understanding of VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
• ITIL Foundations certification (or the ability to obtain it within 3 months after starting).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or equivalent certification (preferred).
