Senior Unified Communications Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop Unified Communications voice, video, and collaboration networks.
• Maintain and administer Cisco telephony equipment including compute nodes, cubes, and circuits.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco Webex Cloud products across the entire portfolio.
• Troubleshoot VoIP traffic across Cisco switches and routers using raw data captures.
• Build system integrity and connectivity tests to ensure constant network availability.
• Monitor infrastructure health and resolve complex voice communication problems.
• Serve as a technical lead for projects and mentor other team members.
• Participate in Tier 2 after-hours and on-call support rotations.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in telecommunications.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications and Cisco Webex Cloud for voice and video.
• Intermediate understanding of networking, including QoS.
• Intermediate technical understanding of Cisco WxC, WxCC, Customer Assist, and Video hardware.
• Proficiency with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity, Voice Gateways, Routers, Switches, CUBE Routers, and SBC Solutions.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting of VoIP traffic across Cisco switches and routers using raw data captures.
• Availability to work flexible hours for after-hours and weekend activities including installation and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
