As a Test Engineer 3 within the Global Operations Group, you will provide hands-on engineering support to the pilot manufacturing floor during swing shift hours. You will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing while ensuring rapid issue resolution to keep build schedules on track. Your daily work involves developing and maintaining manufacturing process documentation in the Manufacturing Execution System, creating visual work instructions, and performing diagnostic tests. You will also design test features, equipment, and scripting-based automation solutions for characterizing complex electromechanical assemblies. To succeed, you must be able to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, 2D/3D models, and technical data sheets. The role focuses on improving quality, reducing cycle times, and enhancing labor efficiency through the continuous improvement of test processes and hardware and software test solution deployments.
