What you'll do

Perform testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, and defined plans.
Troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems.
Inspect materials and components for surface defects and measure circuitry using precision instruments.
Conduct operational tests and fault isolation to determine methods to remedy malfunctions.
Support the design, construction, and check-out of specialized test equipment.
Utilize diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
Collect design data and support research efforts during engineering tests with development engineers.

What we're looking for

2-4 years of related work experience.
Experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work a shift schedule.
Associate degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field (preferred).
Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas (preferred).
Experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred).
