What you'll do

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engine test campaigns for development and production programs.
  • Provide technical and operational leadership to balance priorities, resources, schedules, and test cell availability.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to develop test requirements and manage new product transitions.
  • Oversee pre-test readiness including documentation, hardware, tooling, and specialized equipment preparation.
  • Direct engine setup, installation, and execution in coordination with technicians and support functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to engines, facilities, instrumentation, and data systems during testing.
  • Manage the maintenance, reliability, and performance of multiple assigned test cells.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including process changes, cell upgrades, and lessons learned implementation.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engine Test Operations.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering are preferred, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Test Operations.
  • Must be able to prove status as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) for export-controlled information access.
  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment is required.
  • Ability to provide technical and operational leadership for complex engine test campaigns.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to engines, facilities, instrumentation, and data systems.
  • Strong skills in project management including planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives such as process changes and cell upgrades.
