Technician Trainer, Manufacturing

What you'll do

• Deliver in-person, on-the-job, and classroom-style training for new hires and technicians across multiple product lines.
• Develop and maintain training content including job aides, standard operating procedures, and instructional design guides.
• Conduct hands-on practical training sessions on the production floor to guide technicians through real-life scenarios.
• Enforce the development and standardization of skills matrices and on-the-job training documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure training aligns with operational goals and safety standards.
• Manage training administration including scheduling, logistics, attendance records, and competency assessments.
• Partner with instructional designers and LMS professionals to keep training content updated and relevant.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned training areas to support manufacturing teams.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a technician or technician trainer in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information or facilities.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, tooling, assembly practices, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills to coach others through complex processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other documentation tools is required.
• Ability to use or learn LMS and digital tools for training documentation.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles or train the trainer certifications is preferred.
• Training certifications such as Certified IPC Trainer are preferred.
