What you'll do

Manage the entire manufacturing value chain for Roadrunner from initial prototyping to high-volume production.
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) best practices into the design process in collaboration with engineers.
Own manufacturing requirements and documentation for mechanical fabrication and avionics, including MBOMs and work instructions.
Develop and implement production and test methodologies to scale capabilities for complex products.
Lead quality management programs and analyze metrics for cost reduction and capacity improvement.
Travel to supplier sites to conduct sourcing, resolve production issues, and implement process procedures.
Mentor and train junior staff on assembly optimization and efficient production processes.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
A degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or hard science is preferred.
Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in manufacturing or the design of electromechanical hardware.
Experience with aircraft programs or other aerospace and defense technologies is preferred.
Software scripting experience in any language is preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
Familiarity with J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards is preferred.
Ability to travel regularly between locations and relocate for a 3-month training program is required.
