Technical Sales Engineer

What you'll do

• Demonstrate Jack Henry products and solutions to both business and technical users.
• Manage intersystem and microservices implementations to build proof of concepts for clients.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and lead sessions to define account solutions.
• Document customer requirements and communicate them effectively to Product Management teams.
• Identify technical issues for assigned accounts and manage client expectations throughout the sales process.
• Design product presentations and provide specifications/quotes in response to RFIs and RFPs.
• Identify product capability gaps and propose alternatives using partners or internal enhancements.
• Represent the company at user groups, conferences, and trade shows.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 18 months of hands-on experience in a technical field such as software engineering, systems analysis, or project management.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time based on client and team needs.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with or for financial institutions or fintech companies is preferred.
• Experience documenting client requirements and recommending products to fit a client's technology journey is preferred.
• Experience with cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Experience with UNIX or AIX systems is preferred.
• Experience with Jack Henry’s Symitar Core System or Banno Platform stack is highly preferred.
