Technical Sales Engineer - Entry Level Sales Program 2027 As an Entry-Level Technical Sales Engineer, you will join a team focused on designing, demonstrating, and delivering solutions across AI, hybrid cloud, automation, data, and security. What you'll do

Conduct client discovery sessions to identify business objectives, technical requirements, and opportunities for IBM technology.
Design and validate technical solution approaches that address customer challenges across AI, cloud, data, and security.
Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, workshops, and technical presentations to showcase solution functionality.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support customer adoption by defining use cases, removing technical barriers, and identifying deployment considerations.
Create reusable assets and technical best practices to accelerate client success and solution adoption.
Present technical findings and solution recommendations to stakeholders to drive project progress.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science (preferred).
Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, software development, AI, automation, data, or cybersecurity.
Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, or troubleshoot applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Internship, project, or experience in technology, consulting, or technical sales (preferred).
Technical certifications or participation in hackathons and case competitions (preferred).
