Technical Program Manager, Avionics Lab Operations

What you'll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of test lab infrastructure including design, procurement, and deployment.
• Drive test equipment readiness by managing qualification schedules, hardware/software deliverables, and venue logistics.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical lab operations such as metrology and testing.
• Manage relationships with critical suppliers, contract manufacturers, and third-party test houses for avionics equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting the critical path by coordinating stakeholders and escalating blockers.
• Develop and maintain a three-year operational budget covering both capital and operating expenses.
• Track key performance indicators such as equipment utilization and asset calibration for lab operations.
• Influence facility design and develop mechanisms to track infrastructure requirements and schedule readiness.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum for export control compliance.
• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams while building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams (preferred).
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership (preferred).
• Experience influencing senior leaders and stakeholders (preferred).
• Experience in test engineering, systems engineering, or with space hardware in a design or manufacturing environment (preferred).
