The role addresses the challenge of ensuring high-performing SaaS and on-premises applications through robust quality engineering, automated performance guardrails, and proactive regression detection in distributed systems.

What you'll do

Design, script, and execute load, stress, endurance, and benchmarking tests across UI, API, and backend layers.
Develop and maintain detailed test plans and automation documentation to ensure test reproducibility.
Utilize AI tools to accelerate test case generation and optimize performance scripts.
Diagnose complex performance bottlenecks across Linux servers, networking hardware, and AWS infrastructure.
Integrate automated test suites into DevOps pipelines to establish continuous performance guardrails.
Provide actionable performance insights and data to development teams to improve system reliability.
Mentor engineers and drive the adoption of modern testing and quality engineering practices.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Solution Testing, or Test Automation is required.
Proficiency in Python or Java is required for UI/API automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, or REST Assured.
Experience with networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and L2/L3 is required.
Experience with enterprise networking, cloud platforms, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and distributed systems is required.
Experience in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration is required.
CCNA or CCNP certifications are preferred.
Experience with AI/GenAI, LLM-assisted testing, and intelligent test automation is preferred.
Experience with Cisco products, Splunk, Wireshark, and enterprise platforms is preferred.
