Systems Engineer, Space Systems

What you'll do

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through the entire systems engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Oversee the integration of system components and conduct verification activities to ensure performance standards are met.
• Identify potential risks throughout the system lifecycle and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project status effectively.
• Lead efforts to innovate existing designs and resolve complex technical issues during development phases.
• Conduct performance analysis and modeling to predict and verify system behavior under various conditions.
• Coordinate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure integrated system solutions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4 years of experience, Master's with 2 years, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD clearance.
• Proven experience in RF and communication system design (preferred).
• Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) design and development (preferred).
• Expertise in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo or SysML (preferred).
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI DoD clearance (preferred).
• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers (preferred).
• Security clearance.
