Sr. Specialist Systems Engineer serves as a technical leader responsible for the requirement management, test verification, and performance of established and developing software defined radio products. Working within a multi-disciplinary team including hardware and software engineers, this individual manages the entire systems engineering lifecycle from concept development to deployment. Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams through the entire systems engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment.
Manage technical requirements and performance for established and developing software defined radio products.
Oversee the integration of system components and conduct verification activities to ensure reliability standards.
Identify potential risks throughout the system lifecycle and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project status.
Resolve complex technical issues during the design, development, and deployment phases.
Conduct performance analysis and modeling to predict and verify system behavior under various conditions.
What we're looking for
A BS degree in a technical field (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Material Science, or equivalent) and at least 6 years of related experience.
At least 8 years of prior related experience is required if a degree is not held.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Advanced degrees in a related field may be substituted for some work experience (preferred).
Proven experience in RF and Communication System Design (preferred).
Experience with SDR (Software Defined Radio) design and development (preferred).
Expertise in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo or SysML (preferred).
