What you'll do

Own the integration, calibration, and reliability of optical and RF measurement chains within environmental test systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical blockers on the production floor to maintain manufacturing schedules.
Develop automation strategies and scripts using frameworks like TestStand or Robot Framework to improve test stability.
Implement error-proofing measures and statistical process controls to ensure high-volume manufacturing quality.
Perform hands-on testing of fiber optic and RF components across thermal and vacuum environments.
Analyze production data to identify performance trends and implement corrective actions for quality escapes.
Author technical documentation for test systems, design changes, and manufacturing process improvements.
Manage the integration of hardware communication protocols like SPI, I2C, and Ethernet with test equipment.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics systems.
Proficiency in programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
Experience with test automation frameworks like TestStand or Robot Framework to manage automated test sequences and troubleshoot scripts.
Hands-on experience testing fiber optic/photonic components and RF components using relevant instrumentation.
Knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet, and GPIB/VISA.
