What you'll do

Provide remote management, administration, and expert support for client production Charles River IMS solutions.
Manage user privileges, parameter configuration changes, and overall system availability.
Perform application and database performance tuning and monitor daily operational processing.
Execute software patches and manage Charles River IMS version upgrades.
Resolve technical problems and provide assistance with business continuity and disaster recovery.
Transition new clients to production operations in coordination with internal colleagues.
Implement and operate third-party tools to automate and streamline service delivery.
Provide periodic out-of-hours support to ensure continuous system operation.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience.
Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration, operations, and basic administration functions.
Excellent customer service, technical troubleshooting, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading or related systems highly desirable (e.g. Charles River IMS) (preferred).
Experience with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software and disaster recovery/business continuity (preferred).
A background in portfolio management and trading system applications is preferred (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline such as Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Science, Economics, Math’s or Statistics preferred (preferred).
Ability to provide periodic out of hours support.
